Philips E100 is a cameraless internet gprs mobile phone with phone dimensions 104 x 44 x 13.7 mm and weighing just 75 grams. The non camera phone has a sleek body thinner at the bottom half for better grip and comfortable hold. The gprs phone works on a 2G network with a frequency of GSM 900 / 1800. The internal phone memory is only 2 MB but the memory can be extended to maximum 2 GB using a external Micro SD card. The phone supports polyphonic and MP3 ringtones along with vibration as call alert type. The phone uses a 1.8 inch CSTN Display supporting 65 K colors providing a screen resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. The phone doesn’t have 3.5 mm universal audio jack but supports loudspeaker function.  The without camera phone Philips E100 uses a Li-on standard battery of 820 mAH capacity and provides 5 hours talk time and 500 hours of standby battery backup time.
